Episode Six: Hillel Fuld, Co-Founder and CMO of ZCast

Part of the MiniMultinational Podcast Series

Mini-Multinational is a series of podcasts created by Daniel Abrahams, Co-Founder and CEO of CurrencyTransfer.com, a global marketplace for businesses and individuals with a need to make payments overseas.

In episode Six, Daniel speaks to his guest Hillel Fuld, about the art of “give give give then take”, start-up PR for mini multinationals, and vlogging in 2018.

He is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of ZCast, a startup which takes the pain out of podcasting. He has been voted one of the top 100 most influential Israelis in the tech space.

Hillel is originally from New York (with the accent to prove it!) and moved to Israel as a child.

He quickly got into writing what he then called his “tech diary” which would be called a blog today. He was approached by several start-ups who had read his thoughts on tech and asked for help with gaining a better understanding of their competitive landscape, with pitches or any other area where he could lend a hand.

This grew organically with no clear thought or business plan until he realised he was making a career from being a “fryer” (Israeli for sucker) in giving his expertise to start-ups but taking nothing or very little in return.

His giving mentality has become a byword for Hillel’s business model and while he would never “take”, the rewards come naturally.
