Why don’t I need an IBAN or SWIFT for money transfers to the UK?

The majority of our Payment Partners have GBP accounts in the UK, which means that the payment is usually made locally and sent via faster payments (GBP should be cleared in your account within 2hrs of being sent).

Your payments are routed via the most efficient routes, so where a Payment Partner does not have a GBP account in the UK (and the IBAN / SWIFT would be required for them to execute the GBP payment) there are usually other options to serve you better, which would deliver GBP locally.
